So what does 1,000,000 miles on a Toyota Truck mean? Turns out...it doesn't mean much to Victor. According to the original article, the truck has had very few issues and continues to make trips across-country as his work vehicle. I guess you'd call this a 'daily driver' =)
Ok..so let's break down what 1,000,000 miles in just over 7 years means. We'll do a theoretical road trip from Virgina -> Louisiana -> North Dakota -> California -> Louisiana:
Norfolk, VA -> Houma, LA (Where Mr. Sheppards Toyota dealer is): 1113mi -> Bismarck, ND: 1661mi -> Long Beach, CA: 1598mi -> Houma, LA -> 1871mi
That road trip would be about 6243 miles.
Number of trips to get to 1,000,000 mi: 160
Months since Tundra was purchased in May 2007: 92

So to reach 1,000,000 miles in 7 years, 8 months, and 28 days (approximately), Victor has basically driven ACROSS THE COUNTRY (and back) 1.73 times per month.
I think the rest of us can stop complaining about our daily commute =)
